Lanzante produces 2 road-legal Porsche 935s

The Porsche tuning gurus over at Lanzante have visited this year’s Goodwood Festival with a couple of Porsche 935 racecars converted to be legal on the public roads. The ambitious project took a year and a half to finish.

Starting with the chassis, the tuners overhauled the suspension and the brakes, replacing the handbrake and the wheels while they were at it. They also installed proper lights all around, modified the body kit to be legal and updated the electronics on board. The stock 3.8-liter flat-six engine continued its duty under the hood, sending up to 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) to the wheels.

Porsche introduced the 935 racer six years ago. It was based on the 911 GT2 RS chassis and came out in a production run of just 77 units, none of them street-legal. Aside from this tuned duo, Lanzante brought a few other recent works to the Goodwood show, including its F1-engined TAG Championship 911 (see video).

C’était stupéfiant! Il n’y a rien de pire que j’imaginai de quelque choses d’une imposition très rare, en plus rationnelle qu’on aurait jamais insisté de cela qui a dû se reproduire avec la rareté qui a !
